दिल्ली में यमुना का जलस्तर 5 साल में सबसे ज्यादा; उत्तराखंड के हल्द्वानी में सड़कों पर बाढ़, दो कारें बहीं

हरियाणा के हथिनी कुंड बैराज से लगातार पानी छोड़े जाने से दिल्ली में यमुना नदी उफान पर है। मंगलवार सुबह इसका जलस्तर 206 मीटर तक पहुंच गया। खतरे का स्तर 204.83 मीटर है। इससे राजधानी के कई इलाकों में बाढ़ का खतरा बढ़ गया है। प्रशासन ने करीब 10 हजार लोगों को सुरक्षित स्थान तक पहुंचाया है। दिल्ली सरकार का दावा है कि इन लोगों के लिए अलग-अलग जगह एक हजार से ज्यादा टेंटों की व्यवस्था की गई है। सोमवार को 50 हजार क्यूसेक पानी छोड़े जाने के बाद नदी का जलस्तर 205.66 मीटर पर पहुंच गया। शनिवार को बैराज से छह लाख क्यूसेक और रविवार को दो लाख क्यूसेक पानी छोड़ा गया था।

विजय माल्या के प्रत्यर्पण पर लंदन की अदालत में अंतिम सुनवाई आज, तय हो सकती है फैसले की तारीख

भगोड़े शराब कारोबारी विजय माल्या के प्रत्यर्पण मामले की सुनवाई अब आखिरी चरण में है। लंदन की वेस्टमिंस्टर मजिस्ट्रेट की अदालत में मंगलवार को अंतिम सुनवाई होगी। इसके बाद अदालत फैसला सुनाने की तारीख तय कर सकती है। 62 साल के माल्या पर 17 भारतीय बैंकों का नौ हजार करोड़ रुपए का कर्ज है। पिछले साल अप्रैल में गिरफ्तारी के बाद से माल्या जमानत पर है।

नई दिल्ली. भारतीय कंपनियों ने इस साल 97.6 अरब डॉलर (6.7 लाख करोड़ रुपए) की रिकॉर्ड डील कीं। बैंकर जेपी मॉर्गन को उम्मीद है कि इस साल भारत में विदेशी कंपनियां टेक्नोलॉजी, मीडिया और टेलीकॉम के क्षेत्र में और सौदे कर सकती हैं। जेपी मॉर्गन ने वॉलमार्ट की डील को सबसे बड़ा करार दिया। वॉलमार्ट ने भारतीय ई-कॉमर्स कंपनी फ्लिपकार्ट में 16 बिलियन डॉलर में 77 फीसदी हिस्सेदारी खरीदी। ब्लूमबर्ग के डेटा के मुताबिक, बीते साल भारतीय कंपनियों की 92.3 बिलियन डॉलर की डील हुई थी।

Gujarat APMCs, textile markets return to normalcy after transport strike

Agriculture Produce Market Committees (APMCs) in Gujarat are now returning to normalcy after the recently ended weeklong transport strike had left the markets crippled. APMCs, especially those dealing with commodities produced largely in the state, are witnessing a surge in arrivals, thereby causing minor logistic hiccups in the interim."Arrivals and despatches had come to a standstill during the strike. कोच्चि. केरल के वझाकुलम में सोमवार को एक लुटेरे ने कॉलेज छात्रा की गला रेतकर हत्या कर दी। आरोपी छात्रा के घर में लूट के इरादे से घुसा था। उसने छात्रा की दादी के गले से सोने की चेन छीनने की कोशिश की। जब दादी ने मदद की गुहार लगाई तो यह छात्रा वहां पहुंची। आरोपी से हाथापाई हुई और इसी दौरान लुटेरे ने छात्रा के गले पर चाकू से कई वार किए। छात्रा की मौत हो गई। आरोपी पश्चिम बंगाल का रहने वाला है। घटना के बाद इलाके में तनाव है। वहां पुलिस की तैनाती बढ़ा दी गई है।
