Coffee Day Enterprises (CDEL), which owns CCD, has mandated Deloitte to conduct a forensic audit of the coffee chain’s vendors and the numerous transactions the company had conducted in the past with plantation companies, some of which were privately held by the late VG Siddhartha who founded the company, a source aware of the development said.
